8th November 2014, Chinatown

Singapore’s Chinatown is the most attractive part of the city with a coexistence between the old and the modern. Here, the dominant color is red, the Chinese lucky color. Moreover, the houses in the neighborhood are protected from all evil spirits, through multiple traditional ornaments.

Pagoda St, Temple St and Trengganu St are the most touristic streets, but have a few interesting shops.

Cultural visitors will travel to Sri Mariamman temples and the Relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Very nice temple !  🙂

Change of background beyond South Bridge Rd: restaurants, trendy bars and crowded shops  along Club St Ann Siang and Rd.
