Shanghai is well known for his markets, in this amazing city you can find a market for almost everything… We went to the fabric and the tea market. If you want to do handmade clothe you need to go there.

Tongli, alternately Tong-Li (同里) is a town in Wujiang county, on the outskirts of Suzhou. It is known for a system of canals, it has been given the nickname “Venice of the East”. Tongli is half an hour away from Suzhou city. The place retains many of the features of an ancient Wu region town.

In very sunny Sunday direction Pudong and its large towers. Pudong financial district with towers which rise more than 468 m. We opted for the World Financial Tower (492m) to the highest point of China. But another tower is under construction and should be 632m.

Today the Old City contains some ancient but renovated features, such as the Yuyuan Garden complex, and the City God Temple. Its circular shape is now imprinted by the surrounded large streets which occupy the space of the former walls, now Renmin Road to the North and Zhonghua Road to the South.

The 3 story market is one of the best places in town to buy glasses. Over a 100 shops sell glasses, sunglasses (prescription and non-prescription) and contacts. You must see it !
