North america includes not only United States but also Canada, Mexico and small islands.

I went 4 times in the united states of america. First time for a road trip of 3 weeks through California and east coast. Second time in an host family for 1 month in Georgia (Atlanta). Third time, in the same host family in Atlanta. And last time (where I am currently doing a VIE) in Texas for a year.


Texas 

Currently living there, Texas is a large state in the southern U.S. with deserts, pine forests and the Rio Grande, a river that forms its border with Mexico. Texas’s climate varies widely, from arid in the west to humid in the east.

2 months exploring Georgia and especially Atlanta area. Georgia is a southeastern U.S. state whose diverse terrain spans coastal marshland and beaches to wide stretches of farmland. Atlanta, its sprawling capital. The majority of the state is primarily a humid subtropical climate.

1 week vacation over the north part of Florida. Peninsular Florida is the southeasternmost U.S. state, with the Atlantic on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other. Nicknamed the “Sunshine State,” it has hundreds of miles of beaches.

Around 2 weeks discovering Louisiana state. Louisiana is a southeastern U.S. state on the Gulf of Mexico. Its history as a melting pot of French, African and American cultures is reflected in its spicy cuisine, French dialect and bluesy zydeco. The largest city, New Orleans.

3 days in Tennessee to discover the music culture. Tennessee is a landlocked state in the U.S. South. Its capital, centrally located Nashville, is the heart of the country-music scene, with the long-running “Grand Ole Opry,” the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and a legendary stretch of honky-tonks and dance halls.

California

2 weeks vacation during a roadtrip to discover the west of america. California, a western U.S. state, stretches from the Mexican border along the Pacific for nearly 900 miles. It’s known for its dramatic terrain encompassing cliff-lined beaches, redwood forest, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Central Valley farmland and the arid Mojave Desert.
